Galacta Knight

Much like everyone else in the fandom, I love all of the borbs, Galacta Knight is no exception.

It's been interesting to see how fandom headcanons have changed in terms of Galacta Knight.
Back when I first was in the fandom, evil!GK was the most prominent one, at least in the western fandom. Nowadays it definitely leans more towards good/neutral!GK, although evil!GK still exists. All interprtations are valid and can make for some interesting stuff.
I mean, who doesn't love seeing MK and GK beat the shit out of eachother-

Time for design rambling!
So, fun fact, in the original art for Super Star Ultra (not the sprite art), Galacta Knight's body was coloured a dark blue instead of magenta, while his feet remained magenta (although they admittedly look more purple, imo), making him look WAY more like Meta Knight.
Combined with the fact that he was designed as a direct contrast to Meta Knight... maybe Galacta Knight was originally supposed to be some evil/alternate/from-the-future version of Meta Knight? Or his dad, idk.
One of MK's defining character traits is that he wants to get stronger, so maybe GK was an MK that got too strong? (No I do not subsribe to the 'GK is future Kirby that became too powerful'-theory).
"Ok, but why are the wings so different?" Uuuuhhh... anyway, moving on to the next thing!

I really love the concept of Aeon Hero Light and Dark from Super Kirby clash, also the design for Aeon Hero Light in particular is *chef's kiss*.
I do have some issues with the Aeon Hero Dark design though, and by that I mean the colour palette. I've seen the concept art, and they had so many great options and went with, in my opinion, one of the worst ones.
Honestly, I kinda wanna draw the purple + blue shiny one... The black + red shiny one is also super cool. *^*

I've especially begun to appreaciate GK as a character after reading Post-it-note-7's Heart and Soul series on AO3. If you like MetaGala friendship, highly recommend (although be warned, the borbs are idiots and go through many near-death experiences.

Personally I don't think GK is evil, maybe mad at being unjustly sealed, but not evil. I mean, the dude's pretty much confirmed to be a hero. He's one of the Four Heroes of Yore and is referred to as Aeon Hero in SKC.
This is the hill I'll die on until I'm proven wrong. (I do still enjoy the occasional evil Gala content though :3c)
